The Supplements Your Body Is Missing Right Now

Practicing social distancing and staying at home more means a completely different daily routine and diet. You might be reaching more for comforting, canned, processed, or frozen foods rather than nutritious, hearty meals. This can, unfortunately, result in a lack of essential vitamins. Especially with less time out and about, your body is likely missing out on some key vitamins.

Vitamin D

Missing out on regular sunshine or other normal activities can cause your body’s immune system to weaken. Vitamin D is essential for keeping your immune system strong and healthy, especially in a time such as this. You don’t want to be caught off-guard with a common cold or any infections now, so it’s key to keep your body strong and healthy. Vitamin D can help your body fight off sicknesses, reducing the risk of you getting sick. If your sleep patterns have been all over the place while in quarantine, adding melatonin to your nightly routine can help regulate your sleep schedule. Melatonin works to prepare your mind to sleep, putting you in a more relaxed, peaceful state. Once your body is relaxed and signaled to sleep, you can have a deep night’s sleep.
